Great photo! Wrong category.

Win or loose. Agree or disagree. This artistic photo invokes a lot of comments. I'll give it 5 stars for a guttzie entry.

Is the theme "Action" or "Ready for action"? Other then misunderstanding this monhts theme I don't really have a problem with this. Every year there are calenders of men dressed seductively in a Fireman or Policeman's uniform and nobody complains. It almost seems sexist to get mad when a woman does it.

::also doesnt understand how this is disrespectful:: to each his own yo. dont be hatin' on others art work because it's not your choice. Make your own art and love it and show it off here and see how you feel when others bash it because to them it's bad.

definitely not appropriate for the CONTEST subject matter, but I shoot a lot of boudoir and live in a military town where women provacatively don their hubby's jackets, hats, dress blues, greens, stripes....etc.....not to mention what the wives of firemen, police men, and even the everyday business man in shirt and tie! Women are proud of their spouse's line of work and want to look sexy in a tribute. Innocent at best but in this contest it has no place. I don't think the remarks would have been as harsh had this been exhibited in the right contest.

Yeah this photo may not be sticking with the theme but judge the photo on its merits. How many woman have put on their mans jacket and had him invade her fox hole? Leave this person alone. This photo is not disrespecting anyone.
8.  Guest 3:57 PM Nov 11
I agree very disrespectful indeed.
9.  Guest 3:50 PM Nov 11
This is a very disrespectful photography.
10.  Guest 3:14 PM Nov 11

11.  Bear 7:08 PM Nov 10
Take it down. I'm hesitant to even say this because it gives you more attention. Stick with the theme.
12.  Guest 5:29 PM Nov 10
The fact is that this contest is about "Action shots". This shot has nothing to do with action. This Story about "The action has already taken place" is just silly...If that's the case then every single picture should qualify for this contest. Action photography is just that, Action photography. Not portrait photography, not still life, not nude models wearing a military jacket. This photo should be disqualified from the contest, as it is completly irrelevant.

If you are going to defend your work of art, do it because you believe in it, not because someone else put in another trashy photograph. You put it up, don't trash other photographers. Defend it on your own turf. What's offesive here is not the girl, is the fact that a Military Uniform was used, at least that's my opinion.

All of you have seen worse, I see more on TV ! "BE ALL YOU CAN BE"
15.  CONCERNED GUEST 7:25 AM Nov 08
Guys, I understand the aroar here regarding the image; however, if you take a look at August 2008's Contests you will see on Page 2 at the bottom left corner a complete nude image for the theme "People" that allowed breasts and vagina "with pubic hair showing"; to be submitted by Jody DeBernado Photography; and secondly another one on Page 3 of a Nude Pregnant Woman in a sillohette by LB Photo Design that did not get this much attention and these images should have been noticed just like this one!!!! With that being said, why continue to comment this way when there's other images and pictures here that were allowed. Please reference my footnotes here when I say that the "action" in this image has already taken place in the mind assuming the intimacy had occurred since she's wearing the jacket. I feel everyone is really going too far and should be more open-minded to art and what the image is replicating before judging. Peace everyone!

Someone please remove the trash
17.  Guest 3:28 PM Nov 07

18.  Guest 2:58 PM Nov 07
I agree "Ditto" should be disqualified period.
19.  Guest 2:29 PM Nov 07

20.  Guest 5:42 PM Nov 06
Ten-hut!
21.  Gorje www.vivaexpressions.com 6:33 AM Nov 06
Probably the action will come later!
22.  Pat www.whitephotographics.ca 5:04 AM Nov 06
The only Action in this photograph is the RE-ACTION it is getting from everyone!!!
23.  singer42 3:24 PM Nov 04
What the...? This is not appropriate for this contest, and is defenately a disgrace to the uniform she is wearing. "Army Wives in heat"? I think you got the wrong website here. This should be removed.
24.  Offended 5:21 PM Nov 02
This photo is inappropriate for this contest. Not only is there no action (Physical movement of any aspect of the photo), it is the blatant misuse of a military uniform article that is heinous and degrading. This photo needs to be removed.
25.  Guest 8:12 AM Nov 02
This isn't appropriate.
26.  Guest 5:56 AM Nov 02
I think you need some action if you think this is an action shot.
